Studying at this educational level lasts 1 year 4 months or 1 year 9 months, depending on the chosen study programme - educational and professional Educational and professional or educational and scientific. Educational and professional programme is the training of masters in a particular field of knowledge for further professional work, the educational and scientific training programme is designed for further scientific work of a master's graduate.

Specialists are trained in two educational programmes:

    The educational and professional programme "Engineering of welding, laser and related technologies"
    The educational and scientific programme "Applied Mechanics"

If you are applying for a master's degree under a state order or at the expense of individuals and/or legal entities in the speciality 131 Applied Mechanics, you must pass a professional entrance exam, and at the expense of individuals and/or legal entities, you must submit a motivation letter.

If you are admission for a master's degree under the state order, you must pass the Unified Entrance Examination (UEE), which this year consists of two parts - a foreign language of the applicant's choice (English, German, French or Spanish) and a test of general academic competence (TGAC) to test the required level of knowledge in critical, analytical and logical thinking. To take the EIT, you need to register from 08 May to 31 May (until 18.00) and take it from 26 June to 18 July.

This year, admissions who plan to study for a master's degree at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute must submit a motivation letter for admission to the university when submitting their electronic applications. What is it? A motivation letter is a free-form written statement about your interest in applying to Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and the corresponding expectations, achievements in education and other activities, your strengths and weaknesses.

Have you decided to change your profession after receiving your bachelor's degree? You do not need to take an additional entrance test this year. However, it is mandatory to pass the entrance EMI and EFL (if necessary) or a professional test (for admission by state order). Please note that only applicants who have received a bachelor's degree in the same speciality can apply for a master's degree in 081 Law.

For admission at the expense of individuals and/or legal entities, only a motivation letter is required.

Documents for admission to a master's degree programme are submitted exclusively electronically. You can submit up to 5 applications under the state order, the number of applications at the expense of individuals and/or legal entities is a maximum of 20. In order to submit documents, you need to register an electronic cabinet from July 01, and then register for a professional entrance test. Professional entrance examinations to Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute will be held from 17 July to 28 July inclusive. Applications can be submitted from 31 July to 21 August inclusive. The work schedule of the certification committee and the schedule of entrance examinations can be found on the website https://imz.kpi.ua/uk.
